Welcome to Yellow Chilli Jewellery. By purchasing from our store, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing your order.
1. Orders & Payment
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.
Orders are confirmed once full payment has been received and verified.
Yellow Chilli Jewellery reserves the right to:
Refuse or cancel any order for any reason (e.g., out-of-stock items, pricing errors, payment issues, or suspected fraud).
Cancel and fully refund an order if it cannot be fulfilled.
If an order is cancelled, you will be notified promptly and issued a full refund.
2. Postage & Order Processing
Please allow 1–3 business days for Yellow Chilli Jewellery to process and create your order once full payment has cleared.
3. Shipping Options
All orders are shipped via Australia Post and include tracking.
Standard Tracked Shipping: $10.50
Express Tracked Shipping: $15.95
International Shipping: Prices vary by destination
Tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched.
4. Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery times from the date of dispatch:
Standard Shipping: 2–8 business days (within Australia)
Express Shipping: 1–4 business days (within Australia)
Delivery times may vary based on your location and Australia Post’s network conditions.
5. Lost or Stolen Parcels
Once an order is marked as “Delivered” by Australia Post, Yellow Chilli Jewellery is not responsible for any lost, missing, or stolen parcels.
We do not offer replacements or refunds for items shown as successfully delivered to the shipping address provided.
If your parcel is missing after being marked as delivered:
Check with neighbours, household members, or building management.
Contact Australia Post directly to lodge a missing parcel claim.
Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and secure before completing checkout. We are not liable for deliveries to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by customers.
6. Incorrect Shipping Information
Customers are responsible for providing correct and complete shipping information. If an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, the customer will be responsible for additional postage costs to resend the item. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
7. Order Delays
If your order is delayed due to production, supply, or other internal issues, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide an updated delivery estimate.
8. Exchanges
Yellow Chilli Jewellery will gladly exchange an item if:
It arrives visibly damaged in transit, or
An incorrect item was sent due to our error.
To request an exchange, please email us within 7 days of receiving your order, including your order number and clear photos of the item.
9. Returns
Our return policy is valid for 7 days from the date you receive your order. After 7 days, we are unable to offer returns, exchanges, or refunds.
To be eligible for a return: Items must be unused, in their original condition, and include all original packaging. You must email us within the 7-day period and include a clear photo of the item.
Returns will not be accepted if: The item has been used, worn, or damaged for reasons not caused by Yellow Chilli Jewellery.
More than 7 days have passed since the delivery date.
10. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, you will be notified by email. If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method.
Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
11. Product Variations
As many of our pieces are handcrafted or plated, slight variations in colour, finish, or design may occur. These differences are considered part of the natural character of each piece and are not regarded as defects.
12. Jewellery Care & Water Use
Our jewellery is made from stainless steel or 18k gold-plated stainless steel/titanium.
While most pieces are water-resistant, longevity depends on factors such as: Skin pH levels, environmental conditions, exposure to moisture, lotions, perfumes, and fake tan. We recommend keeping the following items out of water for optimal wear: pearls, statement rings, signature chilli collection, ribbon necklaces, hot mess choker, items with toggle clasps. Please note that tarnishing or wear after 7 days is not eligible for return or refund.
13. Shipping Returns & Exchanges
To return or exchange an item, please email us first to receive our return shipping address.
If returning/exchanging an item for personal reasons, the customer is responsible for all return postage costs.
If the exchange is due to our error or a defective item, Yellow Chilli Jewellery will cover the return postage and provide prepaid postage or stamps.
We recommend using a trackable postal service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items without tracking.
14. Custom Orders, Sale Items & Gift Cards
Custom or made-to-order pieces cannot be returned or refunded. Sale items and gift cards are final sale and non-refundable.
15. Purchases Made At Pop-Up Stores
Products purchased from Yellow Chilli Jewellery at pop-up stores, markets, or in-person events are subject to the following conditions:
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for change of mind on items purchased at pop-up locations.
Exchanges or replacements may be considered only in cases where: The item is faulty, or there is an issue covered under our standard return conditions.
To request an exchange or replacement, customers must: Contact us via email within 7 days of purchase, including proof of purchase and clear images of the item. Please wait for confirmation and instructions before returning or exchanging the item.
Approved exchanges or replacements can be completed by: Returning the item via post (shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is deemed faulty), or bringing the item to a pop-up store or market location, by prior arrangement via email only.
Yellow Chilli Jewellery does not accept responsibility for items returned without prior communication.
16. International Orders & Duties
For international customers, import duties, taxes, or customs fees may apply depending on your country’s regulations.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Yellow Chilli Jewellery shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, damage, or injury arising from the use of our website, products, or services. Our liability is limited strictly to the value of the goods purchased.
18. Privacy Policy
Yellow Chilli Jewellery respects your privacy. Personal information collected during checkout or communication is used solely for processing and fulfilling your order. We do not share personal data with third parties except where required to complete delivery or payment. All data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and applicable Australian privacy laws.
19. Changes to Terms
Yellow Chilli Jewellery reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our website and will apply to all future purchases.
